OSaponaria officinalis

Cover organic root segments with cold water and bring to the boil.  Simmer for 15 minutes.  Allow to cool and then strain.  Resulting liquid can be used as an all natural "soap" for sensitive skin, delicate fabric and as a low sudsing shampoo.  Essential oils may be added if desired.  Keep this product refrigerated when possible and keep for 1 week only or preserve with Optiphen Plus  for longer, non refrigerated shelf life.
