Optiphen Plus is a globally approved liquid preservative developed for paraben and formaldehyde-free preservation.
This blend of phenoxyethanol, sorbic acid, Caprylyl Glycol and an emollient base is ideal for slightly acidic (ideally below 6.0pH) personal care products requiring broad spectrum protection. The combination of all four ingredients offers effective protection against bacteria, yeast and mould growth while imparting emolliency.
Recommended usage levels are 0.75-1.5%
