Natural purple soap colourant.

Dried, powdered alkanet root has been infused in olive oil and strained to leave only the beautiful coloured oil to be used in your soap making creations. Use as part of your recipe by replacing regular olive oil with the infused oil to create a natural purplish shade to your soaps. How dark you would like the soap determines how much oil you substitute for the uncoloured oil. Make up the balance of your recipe with standard oils.

Soap will initially turn a bluish grey, but as the alkalinity level drops it will mature as a natural purple.
